The artwork for Spin-Off is a computer generated fractal, and suggested the name of the album, before the music was all recorded. But as this collection of material is a continuation of the music that was flowing that winter, it is appropriate: I had just discovered the small sound effects repetoir of my music editing software, and used it to add some variation to the sound expressed in the first two CD's. It is also the first time I've played my electric guitar. So there is some of the same music, done "electric". .. so it is a spin-off in that respect, too.

You are going to have to do an internet search to get you own take, on what, exactly, a Fractal is--but I believe each one is a unique "answer" to a mathematical equation, or a series of them, displayed as a color graphic.
